The television industry was changed with the introduction of the streaming media player, such as, Roku. You may have heard of Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick, but it's Roku that is the leader in this industry.

What is it? TechCrunch says it best, "Roku is a device that delivers ondemand or live streaming video content to your television via the Internet. A Roku device acquires data via a wired or Wi-Fi connection to an Internet router and can be connected to any television."
